Business Office Assistant - Shari Mork
Shari joined our team in May of 2011. Shari received her Associates Degree in Business Management from Kaplan University. Administrative Services- Jeanette has been with Cedar Health since January 2009. She is responsible for overseeing the business functions of Cedar Health, including billing, insurance issues, Medicaid & Medicare issues, collecting on receivables due to Cedar Health, conducting registry checks and other financial/business issues that may arise. She has BA degree from Buena Vista University.
Director of Health Services- Janice Howe, RN
Janice joined our team in March, 2011. She has worked in Long Term Care since 1992 and has 10 years experience as a Director of Nursing. She received her degree from NIACC, and will graduate in May from Buena Vista University with her Bachelor's in Health Service Leadership. Responsible for supervision of the nursing department to ensure regulatory compliance as well as ensuring the residents are happy, safe, and feel that Cedar Health is their Home. email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Resident Services Director, Programming Director and Social Media- Anna Johnson: Anna began her work duties in this position starting in December of 2010. She will be responsible for providing resident/social services to our residents and/or family members. As part of her social media duties, she will provide marketing services for Cedar Health which will include overseeing the Cedar Health web site. She is responsible for coordinating structured activities/programming for the facility residents and assists in arranging any special programming events that may occur here at Cedar Health. She is also the coordinator for volunteer services. Dietary/Food Services- Genny LeMaire- Genny has been with Cedar Health since January 2011. This department is responsible for ensuring appropriate meals are prepared, served, and meet the nutritional requirements of the residents who live at Cedar Health. The supervisor of this department also works with the consulting dietitian on establishing what menus will be developed and implemented for resident meals. Genny has 10 years experience serving in the United States National Guard. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois.
Environmental Director - Penny Bass- Penny has been with Cedar Health since May 2007. She is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping and the environmental details of Cedar Health. She works closely with the Plant Engineer in ensuring that Cedar Health is a clean and safe environmental. email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Plant Engineer- Nic Zorzi: Nic Zorzi was hired in May, 2010, as the Plant Engineer for Cedar Health. In this new position, Nic will be in charge of overseeing the building’s interior and exterior workings. This also includes the grounds of the facility. He will also be in charge of completing all maintenance duties. Social Services - Brandi Miller
Brandi joined our team in October, 2011 as our activity coordinator. Brandi graduated from La James College with her degree in Cosmetology and returned to school in 2011 for her degree in Human Services from Iowa Central College. ACC Enterprises LLC- Ownership company of Cedar Health since Cedar Health’s inception back in May 2007. Dennis & Barb Sanvig are the owners of Cedar Health. They also own Port Charles Assisted Living in Charles City and also have owning interest in the Sleep Inn Hotel, Charles City, Iowa. They both have extensive education, background & experience related to working in health care related settings.
